Cleo's Cat of the Year award
At their Thanksgiving 1997 show the Westchester Feline Society honored Cleo with the Cat of the Year award. Cleo received the award for her will to live and active participation in her feeding process. At Six month of age Cleo decided she could tube herself and would take the feeding tube and swallow it on her own. She would remind us when it was time to feed her and always cooperated during feeding. Her will to live and love of us made our caring for her possible.
ABC weather man Lee Goldberg wears his Cleo Cat shirt. Lee did his Sunday weather reports from the Westchester , NY TICA show wearing the Cleo shirt. Cleo was interviewed on camera and being the ham she is chewed up the microphone!
